Hamburger Soup

Reconstructed from the video's narration — no written recipe in the description and no creator recipe in the comments. The auto-captions on this video appear to be a rough machine translation (a few phrases come through garbled); see Notes for one line that didn't make sense and was left out.

Ingredients

1/2 kg (about 1.1 lb) lean ground beef

3–4 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 onion, chopped

1 celery stalk, chopped

1 potato, finely diced

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 teaspoon salt

Black pepper

Italian herbs (dried)

2 cans chopped Italian tomatoes

4 cups beef broth

Parsley, to garnish (optional)

A bread bowl, to serve (optional)

Instructions

Place the ground beef in the bottom of a pot. Season, fry, and drain the fat as usual.

Add the garlic, onion, celery, and diced potato (dice it finely so it cooks faster).

Add the frozen vegetables, stir, and sauté a few minutes.

Add the tomato paste, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Stir.

Add the canned chopped tomatoes.

Pour in the beef broth. Stir quickly and bring everything to a boil.

Cover and simmer 20–30 minutes, until the potatoes are cooked.

Remove the lid and stir.

Serve in a bread bowl if you like, garnished with parsley.

Notes

The auto-generated captions on this video read as a rough translation (a few asides come through as nonsense). One line — "evenly distribute the pasta," right before the canned tomatoes go in — doesn't match anything else in the recipe (no pasta appears anywhere else), so it was left out rather than guessed at. If pasta is meant to be part of this soup, the amount and type aren't recoverable from the audio.
